When you need a ton of copies fast, what do you do? Sure, you could go to all of those business supply stores and pay through the nose just to get your copies, but there are better ways. Some of them may also surprise you.
Shipping Companies
It is strange to think that shipping companies have come so far as to include printing services in their stores. Still, if you are closer to a UPS or FedEx store than you are to a business supply store, it is quicker, easier, and less expensive to reach the shipper's store for printing than it is the business supply store. What is more, if you have to send copies across town or to the next city over in less than a day, you can get your stuff printed, packaged, and shipped from the same store and location.
Library
Libraries have copiers, printers, and computers from which you can print whatever you need. Many of them also have fax machines now too. So, the copies of some documents you need from the office can be faxed over to the library and then you can get the documents at the library and make even more copies from there. What is more, the price for black and white copies is typically quite reasonable.
Promotional Printing Companies
Companies that print up promotional materials are able to complete many printing jobs for you. They have several media machines that can do a number of tasks, from printing plastic banners to reproducing several tri-fold flyers, there is no job too complicated or too strange. If a shipping company that prints is out-of-range, but you are close to an industrial park where there is a promotional printing company, run over there and ask them if they can do this job for you.
Political Campaigning Offices
If you offer a little "quid pro quo," you might be able to use the printers and copiers at a political campaigning office. Usually this entails doing some volunteer work in the upcoming weeks in order to make some quick copies in this office. Since you could be doing anything from getting coffee for everyone to making more copies, it seems a pretty reasonable trade to get the printing you need done now in exchange for whatever the campaign office asks of you another day. Just make sure you do not have any political hang-ups before you walk in and ask to use their printing services.
